Mason Square offers access to state-of-the-art labs and facilities, bringing students and faculty closer to industry and government.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers various undergraduate and graduate courses at Mason Square (formerly Arlington campus) each spring and fall semester. By taking courses at Arlington, students can attend classes conveniently located close to the nation's capital and in direct proximity to industry and government partners. They can access the newest lab equipment and take advantage of the smaller class sizes. Access to the buildings is convenient through a shuttle bus between the Fairfax campus and Arlington and through the metro.
The campus includes several buildings, and its newest building, Fuse at Mason Square, is scheduled to be officially opened in August 2025. It is designed as an innovative space equipped with various amenities that will soon lend itself to becoming an epicenter of innovation. It will foster learning, research, and entrepreneurship and will help create new connections and communities.
